Riskbank most transparent, Czechs close second

Swedish Riskbank remains the world's most transparent central bank, according to a 2014 update of the Dincer-Eichengreen Transparency Index. The Czech National Bank ranks second, while the Reserve Bank of New Zealand comes in as the third.

In the previous 2010 update, the three most transparent central banks were the Swedish Riksbank, the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, and the Central Bank of Hungary.

The Czech National Bank moved up two places, from the fourth in 2010 to the second in 2014, while the Central Bank of Hungary dipped one place, to the fourth in 2014.
